My Fiancé’s Cheating Diary Chapter 01

I lost my job at the end of the year.
When I was browsing job listings online, a post suddenly caught my eye.
"What's the fastest way for a girl to make money?"
My gaze fell onto the top comment.
Miss_Peaches: "Finding a sugar daddy, obviously. Mine gives me 16 thousand dollars a month, and he remembers my favorite food and my period dates. He's just really insatiable in bed and clings to me for a long time every night. But he's very handsome!"
Someone asked in reply, "Where do you find a sugar daddy like that? Is he single?"
Miss_Peaches answered, "He has a girlfriend, but he hasn't touched her for a long while. Said she's like a cold fish in bed, totally boring."
"As for how we met, he accidentally hit me with his car in Miami Beach this year."
My breath hitched.
This March, when my boyfriend, Gregory Flynn, was on a business trip to Miami Beach, he hit a girl with his car, too.
My fingertips went cold, but I kept scrolling.
Miss_Peaches: "I said I wasn't feeling well today, and he left his girlfriend and came to take me bag shopping."
The photo she attached was of two hands locked together, fingers intertwined.
There was a fresh scratch on the man's index finger.
It was exactly where Gregory had cut himself when chopping fruit for me this morning.

I slammed my phone face-down on my lap, my heart pounding fast.
I closed my eyes and told myself that it couldn't be him.
It couldn't be the same Gregory, who would warm my freezing feet against his abdomen on winter nights.
Gregory remembered every little thing I liked, and his eyes lit up when he talked about me.
We'd been together for seven years. We were woven into each other's lives, through and through.
Besides, our engagement banquet was in two days. He'd even designed the invitation cards himself.
It had to be a coincidence.
I took a few deep breaths and opened that top comment again.
The replies were a mess of envy and vitriol. But her responses only got more and more arrogant.
Miss_Peaches: "Why so jealous? His girlfriend's just holding the spot and doesn't know how to please him. She deserves to be cast aside. Men want passion, not a lifeless statue."
Miss_Peaches: "My sugar daddy even pulled strings to get his girlfriend fired, so that I could take her job."
Miss_Peaches: "Now, his girlfriend's unemployed. He only gives her 8 thousand dollars a month, but 16 thousand to me."
Every word stabbed at my heart like a pin.
A week ago, I was fired from my company for no reason. HR had only mumbled that it was a senior management decision.
When I got home, I buried my face in Gregory's arms, feeling very upset.
He kissed the top of my head and said to me, "It's just a job. No big deal if you lose it. I'll give you 8 thousand dollars a month from now on.
"You can just stay home, arrange flowers, and watch TV dramas. Go shopping and have afternoon tea if you're bored."
At that time, I said I didn't wanna be a kept woman, a useless little thing, but he laughed and replied, "I'm happy to take care of you. Only you."
Only me? His words were still ringing in my ears, but now they sent a cold chill down my spine.
My hands were shaking as I clicked on the profile of "Miss_Peaches". Then, I saw her latest post.
Miss_Peaches: "244 days of being kept by my honey. I casually said a bag looked nice, and he bought it for me on the spot!"
The photo attached was a back shot of a man paying at a counter.
Gregory didn't wear that suit when he left this morning. But I could draw that familiar figure with my eyes closed.
I felt sick to my stomach, but I kept scrolling anyway.
Miss_Peaches: "215 days of being kept by my honey. They're getting engaged, and I designed the invitation cards for them! Because I love honeysuckles. Ta-da, pretty, right?"
The invitation card she posted was identical to the one in my drawer.
A few days ago, when Gregory handed it to me, his eyes were full of tenderness. "It's honeysuckle, which never fades, even through the winter. It symbolizes unswerving loyalty and an eternal bond."
Unswerving loyalty? An eternal bond? How ironic.
Miss_Peaches: "198 days of being kept by my honey. Today is his seven-year anniversary with his girlfriend, but he left her alone and came to watch a movie with me."
I remembered that day clearly.
That day, I took the day off, cooked his favorite dishes, ordered a cake, prepared a gift, and lit scented candles.
But all I got was an apologetic call from him.
He said, "Something urgent came up at the company. Babe, I have to deal with it. I'll be home late."
I believed him without a second thought and even told him to take care of himself.
But now, my fingertips had turned cold, and I could barely hold my phone steady.
I scrolled all the way down to her first post.
Miss_Peaches: "Ran into my ideal man today! He accidentally scraped me with his car, was so nice about it, and insisted on taking me to the hospital for a check-up... But he seems to have a girlfriend. Doesn't matter! A catch like this, missing out would be a big mistake! Where's my step-by-step guide to stealing a man?!"
It was edited on March 4, 2025.
It was the exact same day Gregory had hit that girl with his car.
