How does pediatric nurses' training in Machine Learning and robot nurse technology influence their perspectives and attitudes? A quasi-experimental investigation
Abstract
This study investigates the impact of specialized training in Machine Learning (ML) and robotic nurse technology on the perspectives and attitudes of pediatric nurses. Employing a quasi-experimental design, the research evaluates how targeted educational interventions can enhance nurses' acceptance and integration of advanced technologies in pediatric care. The sample consists of pediatric nurses from various healthcare settings who underwent a structured training program. Pre- and post-training surveys measured changes in their knowledge, confidence, and attitudes towards ML and robotic nurse technology. The findings indicate a significant improvement in nurses' understanding and positive attitudes post-training, suggesting that such educational initiatives are effective in promoting the adoption of innovative healthcare technologies. These results highlight the importance of continuous professional development in fostering a technology-friendly environment in pediatric nursing.
