Furiosa is an upcoming Australian-American post-apocalyptic action adventure film directed by George Miller from a screenplay he co-wrote with Nico Lathouris. It serves as both a spin-off and a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), as well as the fifth overall installment of the Mad Max franchise. It stars Anya Taylor-Joy as the titular character Imperator Furiosa, with Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, and Quaden Bayles in supporting roles.
