Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is an upcoming 2022 American action-adventure comedy film directed by Jeff Fowler and written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. The film is a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), based on the video game franchise published by Sega. It stars Ben Schwartz reprising his role as the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, alongside Jim Carrey as Dr Robotnik, and James Marsden and Tika Sumpter. It is the second installment in a planned Sonic the Hedgehog film series.
