China Cari Keributan dengan Bhutan, Sekutu Dekat India

NEW DELHI - China tampaknya terus menyebarkan agenda ekspansionisnya di sepanjang perbatasannya.

Setelah India dan Nepal, negara Komunis itu kini memusatkan perhatian dengan mencari keributan dengan Bhutan, sekutu dekat India.

Selama pertemuan virtual Global Environment Facility (GEF) awal Juni 2020, China mengajukan keberatan atas sebuah hibah.

***However, commentators have questioned this qualification, pointing out a series of problems with it.

The Sunday Times of London commissioned scholars to read the unpublished PhD thesis who noted that the content has little to do with law, appears to contain no original research, and reads like a collection of quotes from existing published works.

Writer Joe Chung compared Xi's works with those of other scholars and found that numerous passages had been copied from previously published works or works published around the same time as Xi's.

In one case, citations were shown to have been copied from another work, including misspellings and punctuation errors in that previously published work. Based on this research, Chung raised the question of whether Xi plagiarised his PhD.

***Chinese students found cheating to get into U.S. colleges
The application essay from a student in China sounded much like thousands of others sent each year to the University of Washington at Seattle.

"'I did this," admissions officer Kim Lovaas remembers the essay saying, and, "'I did that.'" Then she came to a phrase that stopped her short: "Insert girl's name here."

"I thought, 'Did I just read that?'" said Lovaas. "To me, that was a really big red flag."

Admission officers say as many as one in 10 applications to U.S. colleges by Chinese students may include fraudulent material, including phony essays and high-school transcripts.

***Maldives resorts on the lookout for Chinese tourists on 'fake' honeymoons

Guangzhou newly-wed Sara had been hoping for a private holiday when she landed at a Maldives luxury resort with her husband in March. But when six other Chinese “couples”- among them a elderly woman and her adult son - showed up at a sunset dinner, Sara was outraged.

The dinner was advertised by the hotel as exclusively for newly-weds.

“How could they have been so shameless just for a free meal? the woman who was identified only as Sara later vented on her microblog.

Sara told of one couple who were apparently vacationing with their child. They were later confronted by hotel staff.

“How can you possibly be on a honeymoon when your child is already so big?” they were asked, according to Sara's weibo post. The couple were asked to show their marriage certificate.

The husband produced a copy of their certificate, while shouting in Chinese: “Of course it’s our honeymoon. Can’t you read? You trash.”

The fake honeymoon story shocked thousands of China’s social media users, who criticised the “uncivilised behaviour” of the holidaymakers and even called for a "human flesh search" to locate the culprits.

The six “couples”, who Sara said appeared to be related, had booked their vacations through a travel agent, like a majority of Chinese tourists vacationing abroad.

To win customers, more Chinese travel agents are encouraging or even assisting their clients to fake marriage documents to qualify for honeymoon perks offered by Maldives resorts, said Jenny Wang, a Beijing-based Maldives vacation agent.

Offers include free meals, a complimentary visit to a spa, a basket of fruit or a bottle of champagne, depending on the resort. Most resorts require tourists to apply within six months of their marriage date. But marriage certificates can be easily manipulated on computers, and agents don’t have to break a sweat faking documents for clients.

Wang admitted that she had lost dozens of clients to her competitors simply because she wasn’t willing to “help”.

“Some people are ready to take any advantage they can,” she said.

She said resorts have had Chinese sisters posing as newly-weds because same-sex couples are also entitled to the honeymoon offers.

But such couples are usually fake since it's no secret that gay marriage is not legal in China, Wang said.

Until recently, most resorts have appeared tolerant about fraudulent honeymooners, which account for about 50 per cent of all tourists on honeymoon packages, according to Wang's estimate.

But apparently some resorts have finally had enough.

In a letter issued to travel agents last week by luxury Maldives resort Niyama, obtained by the South China Morning Post, honeymoon bookings must now show proof.

“It has been brought to our attention recently that honeymoon bookings are being made and benefits requested for clients that evidently are not on their honeymoon i.e./ mother and daughters, sister etc,” reads the letter.

Agents must submit a copy of tourists' marriage certificates for future bookings. Wang said she had received similar requests from at least one other resort.

Helen Bolton, director of sales at Niyama, told the Post that they have had instances where "sisters and mother and daughters were booked by the agents on the honeymoon package".

The Maldives, which reportedly receives its largest number of tourists from China, is becoming increasingly popular among China's burgeoning middle-class vacationers, who are said to be raucous and tend to travel in groups. Some tourists boycotted a Maldives resort this year after it allegedly withdrew electric kettles from its rooms to prevent Chinese visitors from cooking instant noodles.

This month China's Vice-Premier Wang Yang admitted that dire manners and "uncivilised behaviour" of tourists are harming China's image.

***Three caught stealing from plane passengers

Dubai: Three Chinese men were taken into custody for stealing cash and belongings of passengers on board an Egypt Air flight this morning (Monday). The suspects, travelling on flight MS 910 from Cairo to Dubai, were caught by flight marshals after a crew member noticed the suspicious behaviour of a passenger who was visiting the lavatory repeatedly.

Magdy Shoman, a manager at Egypt Air, told Gulf News that police have started the investigation. “The three Chinese men waited until everyone was fast asleep to open the overhead compartments to steal people’s property,” he said.

Shoman said the crew was alerted after passengers began complaining about missing belongings from their luggage stowed in overhead lockers. The crew asked passengers to remain calm and alerted on-board air marshals.

***Chinese Ag Scientists Charged With Stealing Patented Seeds

Two agricultural scientists from China have been accused of trying to steal patented seeds from a biopharmaceutical company in Kansas.

Separately, six men from China, including the CEO of a seed corn subsidiary of a Chinese conglomerate, were charged Thursday with conspiring to steal patented seed corn from two of the nation's leading seed developers, prosecutors said Thursday, according to The Associated Press.

U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom identified the two scientists charged in Kansas as Weiqiang Zhang, 47, and Wengui Yan, 63, both from the People's Republic of China but living legally in the U.S.

The six others include Mo Hailong, who was arrested in Wednesday in Miami, according to U.S. Attorney Nicholas Klinefeldt, the Des Moines-based federal prosecutor for central Iowa, according to AP.

Mo is charged with conspiracy to steal trade secrets. The other five men charged are being sought by federal authorities, Klinefeldt said.

***Chinese Man Charged With Trying To Take Stolen US Military Documents To China
Yu Long, a Chinese national and a former resident of Connecticut, has been charged with trying to take confidential U.S. military documents to China. The man, who was a former employee of a military contractor, has claimed that he worked on F135 engines used in U.S. fighter jets.

Yu was on his way to China last month from New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport when customs officers discovered proprietary documents in his luggage, including equations and test results used to develop titanium for U.S. military aircraft, Reuters reported, adding that Yu was arrested two days later in Ithaca, New York.

***Chinese tourists caught stealing 30 sets of airline cutlery

A group of Chinese tourists got in trouble on board of a Singapore Airlines flight after refusing to give back over 30 sets of cutlery.

The group from Zhejiang Province stuffed the stainless steel knives and forks into their bags when they were done eating, reported CNS.

Flight attendants kindly asked the tourists to return them, but were told by one family that they had heard you can take the airline cutlery with you.

Airline stewardesses once again patiently explained that they are not allowed to keep the tableware, but the passengers simply ignored them.

The group was eventually forced to return the stolen knives and forks after the tour guide told them to "stop hurting the reputation of Chinese people."==>Tradisi NYOLONK,Nipu,Ngopy,Tukang Tadah,PSK,Narkoba,Human + Organ Trafficking etc!!!!
