This review is my first assignment that posted for MID E-literary report. Without further ado let's look at the review!!! 
The horror film is favorite in Indonesia. Many home production makes it to the viewers.
Sebelum Iblis Menjemputis one of horror film Indonesia that famous in 2018. In the other countries which is release it get title May The Devil Take You. It is a great film because in 2018 it gets one million viewers.

This movie explains about a family that gets terror from an evil spirit in their villa.
This film’s director is Timo Tjahjanto, and the cast includes Chelsea Islan as Alfie, she is a first daughter of Lesmana, Pevita Pearce as Maya, she is Alfie stepsister’s and she is the main character too, Samo Rafael as Ruben, he is Alfie stepbrother’s, Hadijah Shahab as Nara, she is the last child in Lesmana family.
The setting of the film take in a hospital when Lesmana gets strange ill that can’t explain in the medical world, then it takes setting in a forest which makes viewers can feel the evil atmosphere. The last for setting in the old villa that it uses as the main setting in this film. The villa is an old villa that was no longer occupied for more than 40 years.
The film explains Lesmana who have a contract with a demon to be a rich man.
Ten years after his contract he gets a strange illness which can’t explain by the medical world.
Then, his daughter Alfie doesn’t want to meet him again but when he gets ill she comes to say that what Lesmana get was his curse. This story starts when Alfie go to his father villa in Puncak. When she goes around, she sees his stepfamily come to there too. The begin climax of the story explains when Maya ask Ruben to open basement door which is full of unspecified paper in front of it.
After they open that basement the terror begins. Maya mother’s Laksmi pulled out by a demon to the basement and she becomes possessed.
After all of that, they get much terror that never stop until they die one by one. In this film, the viewer never expected what they will see in every scene. The end of the film viewers will think that all of the characters die and it will give an unfinished story. However, at the end of the story viewers dumbfounded because of Alfie and Nara safe.
The film is full of the tense scene which makes the viewers will feel the atmosphere of it.
The artist Chelsea Islan and Pevita Pearce as main characters make us shock with their acting. They are out from their zone in this film, we will see that they play their character in a good way.
The viewers can’t imagine what scene will make the tense because it was really unpredictable. We will feel frightened and shock in every scene. The film setting’s make we feel that it is really gripping.
In every scene, the soundtrack makes us frightened but it’s not excessive. The photography takes in every scene is great when the director’s show us an unpredictable scene which is body burns, nails break, and blood. Director makes it really great with the faster of scene take. The makeup of the character is really great when every single scene show evil face make us frightened.
Don't miss this film! This film is full of an unpredictable scene that will make you feel the scary story and it will ring until your dream.
