Double standards of Muslims in Korea with regards to 2NE1?!
I know this is a few days old news but it seems like the Islamic federation in Korea as well as the Islamic world is up in arms because 2NE1 the Kpop girl group apparently included an extract from the Qu'Ran about heaven in one of their songs. My main point is not to discuss about Kpop but the fact that the Muslims in Korea are trying to be the politically correct police.
Come on in some Islamic theocracies like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates along with Qatar if you are a non Muslim essentially you are a second class citizen who cannot speak out for tolerance.
In Korea you are not discriminated for your religious beliefs by the judicial system which includes these Muslims.
Art generally is a way to freely express oneself even though it may be personal and somewhat controversial. Catholics, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and Jews get their beliefs and their sacred religious texts ridiculed all the time and they don't go ballistic; yet the most intolerant of religions have the greatest voice against intolerance when they are targeted not when they target others.
Anyway if they don't like such things why bother watching 2NE1?
