Sales data from LoveHoney, a website that specialises in sex toys, has revealed that sales of the toys are more popular than ever throughout the holiday season.

Given November has been a landmark month in Australian history with a majority of Australians voting yes to same sex marriage, perhaps some will be celebrating in a particularly saucy way.

The site reports last month it processed a whopping 17,000 orders, with Black Friday spiking sales almost 45 per cent.

The purveyors of adult fun also said they are experiencing unprecedented sales growth and report a 100 per cent increase on last year's figures.
