Why The News Making You Sad (Your Opinion, Come!)
I've had enough! I've had enough of watching miserable, one sided freaking news. no matter what side of the philosophical spectrum you fall on (or stuff like that), the mainstream news is bare fucking bunch of depressing, about your closest fella just breaks up, about your fam just divorce, about one's owing your dough (or otherwise
), about one had just been ripped off, about why you've gotta give a shit on those cheesy stuffs and *pfff that's always something that we see.
we're spoon fed that this is 'cuz life is kinda depressing, that the world is a sort of terrible sad place of war and misery, TV news and dramas contain the hype that this life is kinda shit we should suck it up, and go "*sigh yeah bruv I live in such survival-of-the-fittest's world and I've got a bunch of media hype driven-scums and twats and ott fooking mucks and that and that and shit! *kmt"
I've never bought this, I've even left a great deal to be desired on this, so likS E N S O R..... obviously I see literally good all the time and yeah I actually believe we're all inherently good, that we just wanna connect with ppl, keep friendly to each other, and make sense of it all together.
when you wake up in the morning, the first 20 minutes of your day are the most impressionable minutes of your day. get them wrong and you're gonna feel rubbish all day, get them right and you'll soar.
what are you currently doing with that time? do you wake up and switch on the TV news then you find really depressed news inside? you go to your campus or office then meet ones devote any bad news, scroll through kaskus and move to path and twitter, reading negative a moaning status updates, getting some bad ice-breaking news, about politics and laws, in which those can't change your mind and your life even better, well.....
let's change that today!
things you could do instead (imfho):
1. say some positive affirmations (a'ight bruv, I know I'm kinda hippy, yet those really work)
"today is a good day"
"I'm calm and confident"
"I embrace the challenges in my life"
"I'm strong and capable"
"I attract opportunity"
(make your own and share those here).
2. list 10 reasons why you should feel grateful about your life.
3. have a morning stretch. stretching is good, it wakes up you mind and body. it would leave you feeling much more alert for the day.
4. have a suitable meditation or prayer. if you're a Muslim, you should spend some minutes to subuhan, have a deep praying instead. or if you ain't a Muslim, or some of you might practice any spirituality, have a kind of subconscious affirmative. keep closer to God could chill you out for a sec.
no more morning misery mate! take back your mornings and have a positive day!
