Terinspirasi dari trit ini. Ane pun tertarik buat bikin list film cerdas dan brilian juga. In my version. Which means, fuck those IMDB's rating system and those stupid rotten tomatoes, kita bebas nentuin film bagus sesuai kontennya, bukan popularitasnya kan..?

If you are too lazy to think, then you shouldn't watch it. It's not only mindblowing, it's mind fucking. Lupain segala macem efek-efek CGI yg melenakan & terlalu tipikal di film-film scifi jaman sekarang, Primer menitikberatkan semuanya di segi sainsnya, well, most of the time. Film super low budget ini jadi cult buat moviefreak tapi hampir gak dikenal sama cinemafreak (moviegoers), gak kayak Donnie Darko dan sebangsanya. Cerita yg cenderung simpel persahabatan & bisnis antara teknisi amatir rumahan yg berhasil nemuin mesin waktu ini mengekspose timeloop. But if you understand it on your first viewing, you must be either savant or liar.

Notable Acts:Julie Andrews, Dick van Dyke under Disney's production. What else could you ask for..?
Iiiiittttt's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even though the sound of it Is something quite atrocious. If you say it loud enough. You'll always sound precocious. supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
Yep, lirik dg nada riang di atas menyihir ane pertama kali ane nonton film ini. It's wondrous theme are legible not only for children but also for those who have been a child. Beberapa temen yg demen simbolisme & semiotika ngeliat bahwa kadar kegembiraan yg ekstensif dari film ini akibat dari analogi-analogi yg dipake. It's basically the same thing that the beatles told us about with their song, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. I mean, the kids in that movie jumped into a painting and spent fifteen minutes chasing a cartoon fox... ..and spoon full of sugar!? Grow up.
But yeah, kita msh bisa menikmatinya dg keluguan anak kecil.

Alex is great, a real ASPD that full of chaos. At least, itu yg pertama kali ada di kepala ane pertama kali liat film ini. Scene dimana dia & temen-temennya ngehajar hobo itu keren banget, in fact, visualisasi Stanley Kubrick atas novelnya Anthony Burgess ini banyak yg kelewat bagus. Milk pub, giant penis, stage raping, rata-rata iconic & sarcastic semua. Buat beberapa orang mungkin ini disturbing, tapi gak se-disturbing A Serbian Film kok.
Karya Kubrick yg ini jadi favorit ane dibanding Space Odyssey, Dr. Stranglove, Spartacus, Full Metal Jacket, Killer's Kiss ato bahkan The Shining yg cult banget ituh karena simbolisasinya pas banget. Teknik Ludovico yg mirip kyk propaganda politik yg menyetir opini & preferensi kita akan sesuatu itu nyata, dan digambarkan dg hiperbolik, it's a movie afterall. (Silakan baca The Shock Doctrine-nya Naomi Klein kalo gak percaya)

Welcome aboard, voyeur fetish. Film favorit ane dari om Nolan yg fully depicted in black-and-white style ini santai banget, gak terlalu banyak mikir dengan ending yg sederhana (at least for me), tipikal Nolan. Settingnya di London, nyeritain tentang penulis amatir yg hobi ngikutin orang dan sok-sokan jadi detektif sampe akhirnya belajar tentang anonimitas (did I put it right?) dari Cobb, or so he said his name was. Penggemar Tinto Brass edisi The Voyeur pasti familiar dengan beberapa ide-ide anonim & cara menghilangkan jejak IYKWIM. Fun for them who also enjoy Pulp Fiction & Memento.

Britpop. Yup, cerita tentang sekelompok heroin addict di Edinburgh, Scotland ini asik banget. Kelly Macdonald as a highschooler..? Hot as hell. Soundtracknya menawan, Elastica, Suede, Pulp. Ewan McGregor jaman muda itu keren banget. Okay, they do drugs, but who doesn't..? It's just another semiotics that anyone could be addicted to anything, money, sex, religion, drugs, you name it, but some substance are bad & some are good. Visualisasi scene-scene dari novelnya Irvine Welsh ini juga bagus banget. The public toilet, the dead baby, Trenton's room, rata-rata keren walopun gak ikonik. Moral of the story: Britpop is legendary.

Film paling romantis sedunia. Ane punya beberapa list film romantis yg unik yg bakal ane bikin di lain kesempatan. Dan film ini ada di urutan teratas. Why..? Well okay, if we lost someone, the only thing that they couldn't take with is our good memory about them. Kenangan-kenangan itu jadi bagian paling pribadi dari kita & gak mungkin bisa diduplikasi karena cuma ada di otak kita, di pikiran kita, di hati kita. And what if, you lost it too..? Yang seneng Total Recall dan Being John Malkovich pasti seneng sama film ini juga. Walopun film ini IMO lebih distopia dibanding Total Recall ato Blade Runner sekalipun. No wonder, Jim Carrey is bad ass in this movie dan ane rasa ini salah satu film terbaiknya dia selain Number 23 & Lemony Snicket's.

I might exaggerated that a man could pull it all off single handedly, but just watch this one. Siapin tisu, karena film keluarga ini beneran mengharukan.
Racists aside, film ini bukan tentang holocaust macem The Pianist, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, or even Schindler's List! This is about love, family, hope, wondrous & the power of imagination. Guido, tokoh utama kita yg luar biasa ini berusaha bertahan & mempertahankan keluarga juga kewarasan anaknya dari keganasan kehidupan. Well, in his case and to put it extremely, from war, genocide, mass annihilation. Dan buat mereka yg berpikir ada film italia lain yg lebih bagus dari ini, silakan posting opini agan.
