Tradisi Queen Charlotte's Ball
Queen Charlotte’s Ball adalah acara puncak London Season, tradisi yang brawl sejak 200 tahun lulu, ketika para pemburu kembali ke London setelah musim berburu usai. Masa itu diakhiri dengan perayaan pesta-pesta mewah dan acara high society.
Kelompok debutante yang terpilih akan melanjutkan tradisi pengumpulan dana, kelas etiket, dan tampil saat The Queen Charlotte’s Ball. Para perempuan muda yang biasanya berusia antara 17-20 ini akan mengenakan gaun karya perancang saat menghadiri pesta dan diperkenalkan ke para tamu. Mereka akan membungkuk pada kue Queen Charlotte. Pada 1780, Raja George III mengadakan pesta Queen Charlotte untuk merayakan ultah istrinya, dan para debutante ini akan diperkenalkan ke Raja dan Ratu. Tradisi mengenalkan ini berhenti pada 1958.
