Senior Software Engineer

Functional Role in System Development
Core Functional:
• Responsible for the system requirements gathering, analyst, design, configuration, implementation and support of the company's Supply Chain Management application system.
• Participate in all phases of system development life cycle (define program requirements, time estimates, code, test, debug, and document) with moderate guidance following SDLC processes and application processes.
• Develop solid understanding of the application infrastructure and SDLC.
• Work hands on to aid in developing solutions at the technical level.
• Promote coding practices designed to promote code reuse and standardization.
• Troubleshoot application and system problems and constantly work towards improving existing systems to improve efficiency in data collection and effectiveness in system controls.
• Working with others development team for system integration.
• Conduct user acceptance test and end-user training.
• Participate in system improvement discussion and propose solution.
• Ensure user conformance to procedures and data integrity.


REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

General requirements:
• Minimum with 5 years hands-on experience in the development field.
• At least 5 years experiences in DOT.NET & MSSQL.
• Working knowledge of SQL 2005/2008 and its related tools.
• Experience supporting MS SQL server database systems on the Windows 2003 and 2008 platforms.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Strong team and organization skills
• Self-motivated, independent and able to work effectively in teams.
Value added requirements:

• Experience in ETL process.
• Experience in Oracle (optional, would be a definite advantages)
• Knowledge in Manufacturing or Supply Chain industry would be definite advantages.


Educational Qualifications:

• Degree holders on Business Admin/Information Management/Computer Science minimum 5 years related working experience. Working experiences in manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
