‘Ssup guys? My holidays will come to an end soon enough, ergo, rather than spending this precious days of mine with some “naughty” stuffs, Throwing a topic to discuss seems a bit better

So, the topic that I would like to share with all of u guys is about a hyper-connected world. A Hyper connected world itself is a state where the world we’re all living in is being connected from one part of this world to another part of this world with digital frameworks (such as internet, satellite, etc.). Well, of course, this kind of world is what most people are longing since many decades where everything can be done without having to travel here and there and with a single click ,poof, it’s all done.


Smartphones, mobile banking, social networking, online shopping, and many more stuffs could be simply done without too many efforts. I, myself, is trapped in this fast connected world where I could easily accessing all the information I’d like to derive and easily intertwining communication with all of my comrades which are scattered in many part of this world.

But, Have u ever thought that all of those heaven’s “stuffs” that we derive nowadays, for me, has altered this world to become less secure than before? Just imagine: u have a house with a bunch of doors which can be easily accessed. Wouldn’t it simply attract a lot of crooks to “steal” ur stuffs because it is easily accessible? Well here’s my point of views based on this topic:

Privacy Abuse
Privacy is one of the most common issues when it comes to a hyper-connected world. It is true that every stuffs that we desire to have is provided in the digital world or simply internet and that is helping us a lot. From paying bills, shopping, chatting, joining social Medias, or maybe creating a travel arrangements and stuffs like that. But, the problem is: Are we aware about our real personal data which is mostly needed in using this internet’s service that is recorded permanently in their database? This is what pundits called as tracking which means that several irresponsible people could have a free access to our sensitive data such as: bill payments, incomes, locations, and medical conditions of Internet users which means that it could easily hacked.

Social Abuse
This issue is mostly suffered by juveniles and I must assert this is enormously dangerous. Frankly, I don’t know if this issue ever happens in our country but in western hemisphere of this world, this issue is what most parents is feared by. The perpetrator is usually named as “predator”. They create a social media accounts (facebook, twitter, myspace,etc.) and pretend to be someone else in order to attract some certain people who they are admired.
This kind of people are usually pedophiles, freaks, stalkers, or whatever it is, u name it. Although for some of u, it is not categorized as a threat, there are tons of crimes cloaking behind this social Medias. So beware of this issue especially if u are a parent

Theft
This one actually is connected with the first issue .Hacking credit cards, bills, and several issues has becoming a major concern for some people, most notably the one that often use internet’s services. But there is the latest crime of this kind. It is what the FBI calls it as phishing or spoofing. The trick is quite simple where there are fake news or emails that is mentioning that u’ve been accepted in some companies, u win something big, free green cards, or cases like that which are requiring ur personal data like credit card numbers, email address, home address which could lead to fraud or other crimes. Maybe some of u has witnessed this kind of trick whenever u use the internet, so avoid it immediately.

Espionage
Espionage is an issue that has a big possibility to give a cataclysmic impact even for a country. A hyper-connected world will make this kind of crime easier to be done and more accessible. This has become a big concern even for superpower country like USA because from what I read from several articles USA has been attacked recently by this kind of crime which the accused country is Iran. And yeah, maybe for some of u Iran’s biggest threats are their nuclear power and its important oil’s routes which many countries hinged on, but that’s not it. Iran is developing its power by using this hyper-connected world and that is happened to be enhancing their technology on internet.

Honestly I still have a lot in my mind but I’m really curious about ur contention rather u agree or vice versa

Last words: please note that I’m undoubtedly sure that a hyper-connected world has granted us a big help but what I want to assert from this thread is that, it will merely make this world less secure
