"Kepa makes a great save, Kurt Zouma makes a great tackle, but in those last moments it was nerve-wracking," the boss said, as quoted by the Blues' official website.

"We should have had the game under much more control going into the last five minutes. At 2-0 we should have controlled the game better. At 3-2 we had a lot of chances to finish it off. We made the wrong decisions with the final pass or shot. That invites pressure.

"It was fantastic from Kurt. Against Watford, he played a really good game as well: imposing, great defending, good on the ball. That's everything I want. His is definitely a points-saving tackle, it saves us two points. I'm really pleased with him.

"For Kepa, it can be big. When you're at the end of the pitch confidence is huge when you're in an individual position. He should be boosted; his teammates should be boosted because he saved us two points.

"That's what Kepa is there for. I'm really pleased for him.We need that to be a top team, people to make those sorts of saves to pull us through. He did it today."

Willian keeps proving his utmost importance to Chelsea. The Brazilian provided assists for the Blues' first two goals, made 5 key passes, completed 4 dribbles and landed 2 shots on target.
Apart from being a constant threat in attack, the winger did a great job in terms of both defending and pressing off the ball.

Christian Pulisic - 8.5
Christian Pulisic had another great game. Crystal Palace even tried doubling up on the American to reduce his influence, but in vain.

What a beastly defensive performance it was from Kurt Zouma! The Frenchman won 6 aerials, made 4 interceptions and 6 clearances, recorded a tackle and blocked a shot.
Most importantly, the centre-back saved the Blues at the very last seconds of the game, performing a superhuman sliding tackle to deny Christian Benteke an equaliser.

Game-changers
Ruben Loftus-Cheek - 7.5
Frank Lampard's second-half subs changed the game. Ruben Loftus-Cheek might be not at his best at the moment; however, he played a huge role in Chelsea's victory.
The midfielder was a presence offensively and defensively, completed 20 passes without misplacing one. The 24-year-old created what turned out to be a winner, providing a tricky assist to Tammy Abraham after a remarkable solo run.

Jorginho - 7.5
Late subs usually don't get enough minutes to have a tangible impact on the game and, therefore, they could rarely be rated properly. This one is an exception. Jorginho took the pitch 10 minutes before the final whistle but made a huge difference.
In the second half, Chelsea were getting run over in midfield while Palace dominated possession and dictated the pace of the game. The Italy international immediately took complete control of the match and helped the Blues calm down, with his metronomic passing possibly saving two points for the team.

Disappointment
Andreas Christensen - 5
Andreas Christensen provided yet another unconvincing display. First Patrick van Aanholt played the Dane like a fiddle in the build-up for Palace's second. Then the centre-back switched off again at the end of the game and Benteke would've equalised were it not for Zouma's last-second leap.
Christensen didn't make a single tackle, never contested a dribble and was bullied by Benteke, who won unbelievable 12 aerial duels.
