Soukyuu no Fafner Thread
Originally airing in July 2004, Fafner is a sci-fi mecha anime. The story follows Kazuki Makabe, pilot of the giant robot Fafner. Using the Fafner, he must protect his home, the secluded Tatsumiya Island, from alien invaders called Festum. Many challenges arise and only Kazuki and his friends can make their island a paradise once again. Produced by Studio XEBEC (Love Hina, Nadesico) and directed by Nobuyoshi Habara (DN Angel), with character designs by Hisashi Hirai (Gundam SEED, Infinite Ryvius) and mechanical designs by Naohiro Washio (Stellvia). The TV series was initially released on DVD in the U.S. by Geneon Entertainment, but has since been re-released by FUNimation. The prequel OVA Right of Left was released in 2005 in Japan only. In 2010, the movie Heaven and Earth debuted in Japanese theaters and has since been released by FUNimation. A new movie entitled Exodus is currently in the works.

Angela to release new 'Soukyuu no Fafner EXODUS' single & best-of album
angela's new single "Exist" will be released on February 11.
"Exist" has been picked up as the opening number for the anime 'Soukyuu no Fafner EXODUS' ('Fafner in the Azure EXODUS') which will air on MBS, TBS, CBC, and BS-TBS' "animeism" time slot beginning in January of 2015. Besides the title track, the single will include the anime's ending song "Anya Kouro" and an instrumental track for each song.
The release of this single was announced on November 15 during an event for 'Soukyuu no Fafner EXODUS' at Maihama Amphitheater. At this event, angela performed "Exist" for the very first time. In addition, it was announced that a 'Soukyuu no Fafner' complete best album, including all theme songs sung by angela, will be simultaneously released with the single. The jacket cover for this album will feature an illustration of the anime.
