Kayanya si Kimi masih ragu sama mobilnya
http://m.crash.net/f1/news/201731/1/...-mercedes.html
Kimi Raikkonen says he is sure Ferrari will catch Mercedes this season but is unsure if it will come soon enough to mount a title challenge.
Mercedes has looked in dominant form as it has won the opening two races, taking its first one-two since returning to the sport in 2010 last weekend in Malaysia. Raikkonen has only scored six points so far this season but is confident in Ferrari's potential, although admits it may take too long to close the gap to be able to fight for the championship.
“Obviously they have been looking strong over the test and over the first two races but I'm sure we have some big gains that will come,” Raikkonen said. Obviously from my point of view I'm quite far off in points but that can all change with the new rules and only two races done. So we'll try to do the best that we can and try to improve, but it's not easy to catch up with them. We won't give up, we know where we have to improve and we're going to get there.
“It's just a lot of hard work and we need some time, unfortunately that doesn't help in Formula One when you have races weekend after weekend so it's hard to catch up. But I'm sure that we have already done a lot of good things and improved a lot of things and fixed a lot of things. I'm sure we're going to get there. If it's too late for the championship? I don't know.”
After two races with Fernando Alonso as his team-mate, Raikkonen says there have been no big surprises to the challenge he faces and he believes he will soon be matching Alonso's results.
“It's more or less what I expected. Obviously I try to put the effort in to sorting my things out and being happy with things. I'm sure if I'm happy then we can get the results that we want. That's really the aim, to sort out the issues that we have and to try to improve the things overall. I haven't really put too much effort in to it; obviously I see the lap times on the data and stuff but it's not really anything other than I would have expected.
“Obviously he has more points than us but there are many reasons for that and it's not really the thing that I'm looking at right now. I'm trying to sort out my own stuff and I'm sure that once we get to where we are happy with the car then I'm sure we will get the results and where we want to be and where we should be.”
