I think you should learn vocabulary first, that's the way it's done with children when they start learning English. Then, you can slowly learn a little bit of simple grammar. Try to read books, listen to music, or watch movies with English language....it can help you a lot with your vocabulary.

Will you teach your kid to speak English very early?

I will definitely teach my kids English. From my personal experience, it will help a lot in your study and work. Kids are great learners, so no need to worry about them forgetting bahasa Indonesia as native language. As for calling older people just by their names, I think it's more about culture...
