Beau Is Afraid is an upcoming American comedy horror film written, directed, and produced by Ari Aster. It stars Joaquin Phoenix, Nathan Lane, Patti LuPone, Amy Ryan, Kylie Rogers, Parker Posey, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Hayley Squires, Michael Gandolfini, Zoe Lister-Jones, and Richard Kind. The film was produced by A24 in the company's third collaboration with Aster, after Hereditary (2018) and Midsommar (2019). It is scheduled to be released in 2022.
