Morbius is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is intended to be the second film in Sony's Marvel Universe, adjunct to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is being directed by Daniel Espinosa from a script by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama, and stars Jared Leto in the title role alongside Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, and Tyrese Gibson.
