Yakuza yang mempunyai judul asli Ryū ga Gotoku (Like a Dragon) adalah sebuah video game bergenre open world, action adventure, beat 'em up yang dibuat, dimiliki dan diterbitkan oleh SEGA. Seri Yakuza aslinya dibuat oleh Toshihiro Nagoshi, yang punya keinginan untuk menceritakan kehidupan yakuza.

Game Yakuza fokus pada karakter Kazuma Kiryu, seorang yakuza dari Tojo clan. Gamer mengontrol Kiryu atau karakter lain -sesuai dengan seri gamenya- di lingkungan open world, dimana gamer akan bertemu musuh, menyelesaikan substory (dari yang serius sampai yang absurd), bermain mini-games, makan di restoran, dating, berlatih dengan guru bela diri dan lain-lain.

Setting lokasi Yakuza mayoritas berada di area fiksi Kamurocho yang mengambil satu daerah asli di Jepang, Kabukicho.
