PUBG - MUI Consider the Fatwa of Post-Terror PUBG Haram in New Zealand.
Post-theater in New Zealand, various responses arise from various layers of society in the world.
Many even respond if the terror is caused by the PUBG game.
The Indonesian Ulema Council or the MUI also responds to the incident and is likely to issue an illegitimate fatwa in the PUBG game.
The chairman of the West Java MUI, Rahmat Safe'i said that his party would educate the public to play a role in terrorist acts, one of which was to consider issuing an unlawful fatwa for the PUBG Games.
The MUI said it would still conduct a study of how much negative influence PUBG had given its players.
The fatwa itself cannot be arbitrarily issued by the MUI.
Rahmat said that a new fatwa could be determined after conducting an assessment of the PUBG and the impact that was given to the community.
Before giving an unclean fatwa to the PUBG game, his party had to hold discussions with various parties.
Before the shooting case in New Zealand, the Indian government had issued an order to forbid people from playing PUBG.
In that country, PUBG is considered a source of various social problems such as domestic violence to student academic decline.
With that, four regions in India implement regulations that prohibit people from playing PUBG in public places until 31 March 2019.
In Malaysia, a few days ago there were plans to block the PUBG game caused by shooting cases in New Zealand.
However, this was disputed by the Malaysian Minister of Youth and Sports, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who stated that acts of violence arising from extreme beliefs will still occur, regardless of whether or not there are war games such as PUBG.
One thing to note, that the shooting cases in New Zealand were not inspired by the PUBG or similar games.
The culprit himself has uploaded a 74-page manifesto before carrying out the attack, in a document entitled "The Great Replacement".
The manifesto contains challenges to anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, white supremacy ideas, to explain the reason for carrying out attacks as an attempt to retaliate against Muslims for acts of terrorism in Europe.
In fact, the developer of the PUBG Mobile game, Tencent Gaming is developing features to limit the age of PUBG Mobile players.
Later this feature will be tested in the Chinese region, PUBG Mobile and Honor of King (Chinese version of AOV) will be two games from Tencent which are the main focus.
This feature called 'Digital Lock' can be used by parents to lock the game so it cannot be played by children under the age of 13.
