Inilah kode-kode HTML pertama yang ditulis oleh Tim Berners-Lee. Dapat kita lihat bahwa halaman web ini tidak menggunakan tag <html></html>, karena memang pada saat itu masih belum ada aturannya. Tag-tag dan atribut yang dituliskan juga menggunakan huruf kapital (dewasa ini penggunaan huruf kapital untuk tag dan atribut tidak disarankan).

Ternyata, kecanggihan HTML5 yang saat ini temukan dimulai oleh satu halaman ini.
