Have you heard of Expat Indo Forum? It is a new Information and Community website for Expats in Indonesia.

We are a non-profit website run by volunteers who live in and have fallen in love with Indonesia. Our aim is to provide the most up-to-date information for expats settling in Indonesia. We provide and discuss the latest and most accurate information on visa and immigration in Indonesia, work regulations for expats, practical information for family life in Indonesia and so on.

We are still a small community but our users are very active and we have a vibrant atmosphere, discussing all sorts of topics about Indonesia but also about what is going on in the world. We talk about everything!

While the aim of the website is to help expats settle in Indonesia, we also understand that expats in Indonesia would be nothing without Indonesians! Not only do we welcome Indonesians to join and participate in our community, some of our most active, knowledgeable and helpful users are Indonesians! Everybody is welcome at Expat Indo Forum!

We are also running a small event at the moment: anybody who signs up and reaches a symbolic 10 posts before the 15th of August will receive the honorific title of "Charter Member" and will automatically be granted access to "The Cage". "The Cage" is a special private section of the forum where the moderation is much more lax.
