The GHOST Game

The GHOST Game
This is a fun little game I "learned" from the TVTropes forums. The purpose is to take the previous letter or string of letters and add to it in the eventual goal of reaching a complete word. Each word must be at least 4 letters long to count as "complete". Proper nouns do not count (London, Jacob, Jamie, etc.)
The catch is, if you are the one to complete a word, you lose the round and get a letter in "GHOST". The first one to "GHOST" loses the game and the next game can begin. You should have an actual word in mind you're trying to spell; if you think the person before you doesn't actually have a valid word in mind, you can end the round by challenging them, after which, they have to put down the word they were thinking. If you catch them cheating, they lose the round, if they put down a valid word, you lose the round.
Here's an example round:
Note that you can only add one letter to the end of the current letter pool, though there are variants that are more flexible (which I will post after this initial game has ended.)
For the sake of camaraderie, if a word has more than one spelling (i.e. Color/Colour, Realize/Realise) both are valid. Also, you can "force" someone to lose the round if they manage to spell a word even though they're thinking of another, longer word in mind. For example...
If nothing else, this'll be a fun way to expand your vocabulary - and pass the time, too
So let's start!

EDIT: Proper nouns are names used for an individual person, place, or organization, spelled with initial capital letters. FOR EXAMPLE:
Names - Jimmy, Elizabeth, Giovanni, Nina, Mario, Luigi, etc.
Locations - Jakarta, Paris, France, Greenland, Springfield, etc.
Organizations - Manchester United, Boston Red Sox, Persija, Sega, Sony, Google, etc.
