The Secret Life of Pets is an upcoming 2016 American 3D computer animated comedy film produced by Illumination Entertainment. It is being directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio.[2] The film stars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Albert Brooks, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, Lake Bell, Ellie Kemper, and Steve Coogan. The film is scheduled to be released on July 8, 2016, by Universal Pictures.

Plot
Taking place in a Manhattan apartment building, Max's life as a favorite pet is turned upside down when his owner Katie brings home a sloppy mongrel named Duke.
