Cinderella is an upcoming live-action fantasy film, directed by Kenneth Branagh and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is a re-imagining of the 1950 animated film of the same name. The screenplay is co-written by Aline Brosh McKenna and Chris Weitz and will star Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine and up-and-coming actress Lily James as Cinderella. It is expected to be released in 2014.
