A void city where all people disappeared one day, survived psychics who and transform their emotions into abilities, and Mazes with clues to the void city are concepts of <Soul Worker> developed by Lion Games, a stylish action online game targeting teenagers.

<Soul Worker> is a modern fantasy genre with the void city called Cloudream. Players will become the psychics and fill up the city’s vacuum along the clues to a mysterious affair caused such disaster.




The clues are distributed in the instance dungeons called Maze. The Maze varies each time the players visit with not only its difficulty but also ongoing story, selected game mode, and puzzles.





The psychics control their emotion, so called Soul in the game, and put it into their weapons to use powerful abilities. And they call the weapons Soul Worker, the title of the game. Since each psychic is bound to only one Soul Worker, you can assume the weapon as the class.





Since the Soul(emotion) is the source of the weapons, each Soul Worker characterizes different emotions. For example, Hammerstol, a compound name of hammer and pistol, requires fury while Chainblade, chainsaw and blade, needs revenge.





The Soul gradually invigorates as the battle continues, allowing a lethal skill ‘Zenith’ during the active phase and ‘Coordination’ that more than two players employ Zenith together.




<Soul Worker> features modern cell animation, avoiding too showy background color but interspersing modern and sensitive elements such as destroyed constructions and trains, a bicycle leaning on a pole, and a cat sitting on the parapet of a window.
