from the boredom of watching our local tv shows (sinetron) that undenieably boring, people usually will find something else to watch.
it could be a TV show like: The walking Dead, The Big Bang theory, Once Upon a Time, etc.
or it could be an Anime like: Attack of The Titan, One Piece, Naruto Shipudden, Hunter X Hunter, etc.

my answer for the question above, I'm currently watching: The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, The Flash, New Girl, Star Wars Rebels, Legend of korra (sad that this show is ended ) sometimes some episode of Family Guy, Southpark, The Simpsons.
and for anime, I've stopped watching echi's anime for about 5months, I only watch One Piece, HxH, and Naruto
