Assassin's Creed Rogue is a 2014 historical fiction action-adventure open world stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Sofia and published by Ubisoft. It is the eighth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series, and acts as a sequel to 2013's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and a prequel to 2012's Assassin's Creed III with its final mission being the prologue to 2014's Assassin's Creed Unity.

Story

The story is set in the mid-18th century during the Seven Years' War, and follows Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin-turned-Templar. Gameplay in Rogue is very similar to that of Black Flag with a mixture of ship-based naval exploration and third-person land-based exploration with some new features.

Various characters from both Black Flag and ACIII will make an appearance. such as Haytham Kenway, Adewale, and Achilles Davenport

Gameplay
Returning from Black Flag, you’re once again in control of a ship, the Morrigan, this time the ship is a shallower draft which allows the player to travel down rivers and move faster. Unlike in Black Flag however, when you begin ship combat, enemies can now board your ship rather than being confined to their own. You can also release oil slicks which can be ignited. Due to the cold environment, you can no longer go underwater and when in water you are constantly damaged. You will also need to use the ship’s ram to break through ice in order to access various areas. When in the River Valley, a mixture of land and naval based gameplay will be used.

On land you will be fighting with the new air rifle, a deadly silent weapon that allows different ammunition types to be used, all of which have various different effects. A grenade launcher can also be used, which can shoot shrapnel grenades among other things. Lastly due to the nature of the story, you will be fighting Assassins, who possess various skills that in the past have only been usable by the player. From hiding in bushes to attacking from the air, beware of the Assassins. Various other mechanics have been added, such as compass which indicates a target's position or whispers that can be heard when a foe lurks by.

Outside of these however, the game functions many ways similar to Black Flag, even sharing many UI elements.

There is also no penalty for killing civilians.

Unlike Unity and Blackflag, Rogue has neither co-op nor competitive multiplayer, making it the first game since Assassin’s Creed II to feature only single player.

Case 0: If u don't have a previous story save and want to start a new game, then just copy 0x1.sav and 0x2.sav to the CODEX save location.

Case 1: If u do have a previous story save, check if the 0x1.sav & 0x2.sav are all the Options save(smaller one), if so, copy and paste like Case 0.

Case 2: If u do have a previous story save, and 0x1.sav and 0x4.sav are the Options save, just copy 0x1.sav and delete 0x4.sav
