KOMPAS.com - Kelompok militan ISIS merilis sebuah video pemenggalan terhadap penganut Kristen Koptik di Mesir yang mereka tangkap sebelumnya. Para korban terlihat menggunakan baju berwarna oranye dengan tangan yang terborgol.

Para militan ISIS terlihat dalam video tersebut menggunakan penutup kepala dan pakaian serba hitam. Disebutkan, lokasi pemenggalan berada di wilayah pantai Libya.

Sebelumnya diinformasikan ada 21 penganut Kristen Koptik yang diculik oleh ISIS. Video pemenggalan tersebut diberi judul "Pesan kepada negara salib", lalu mereka juga memasukan tulisan "Orang-orang dari neagra salib, pengikut dari Gereja Mesir".

Video tersebut muncul beberapa hari setelah ISIS merilis video pembunuhan yang disertai pembakaran hidup-hidup pilot pesawat tempur F-16 Yordania, Maaz al-Kassasbeh. Video itu kemudian menuai reaksi dari masyarakat internasional.

Sebelumnya diberitakan, pada Januari telah terjadi penculikan 21 orang Kristen di Mesir. Juru bicara kementerian luar negeri Mesir, Badr Abdelatty, kepada AFP mengakui ada 20 orang yang diculik di dua wilayah berbeda di Mesir.

Meski begitu, Badr Abdelatty belum dapat memastikan agama yang dianut oleh para korban penculikan, sembari mengatakan ada 13 orang warga Mesir yang masih ditahan oleh para penculiknya di Libya.

ISIS Slaughters 21 Coptic Christians in Libya














ISIS has reportedly executed 21 Coptic Christian hostages in Libya. The Christians were reportedly captured around New Year’s Day.
Ansamed reported, via Religion of Peace:

Twenty-one Egyptian Christians kidnapped by Isis in Libya around New Year’s are feared dead, after Twitter accounts linked to the Libyan branch of the so-called “Islamic State” announced they had been slaughtered.

There is no official confirmation yet but Egyptian media believe the news to be reliable and two pictures released by the same Twitter sources show what they describe as “the Islamic State carrying out the execution of Coptic prisoners in the province of Tripoli”. In the first picture five men wearing the notorious orange jumpsuit are kneeling while hooded hangmen armed with knives stand behind them. The caption, written in English, describes them as “the humiliated followers of the Coptic church”. In another picture more men wearing the orange jumpsuit appear in a line with their executioners under a message in English that reads “revenge for the Muslim women persecuted by Coptic crusaders in Egypt”. These pictures along with others were published by Dabiq, Isis’ online magazine in English, together with an announcement of the kidnapping but not of the execution.
