Common Mistakes People Often Do

Firstly, not trying to outsmart anybody. This is just a thread of sharing knowledge.

I found ppl often unconsciously did the same (perhaps common) error or wrong diction of word

Here's what i've found :

1. COSTUMER / CUSTOMER :

COSTUMER =
a person or company that makes or supplies theatrical or fancy-dress costumes

CUSTOMER =
a person or organization that buys goods or services from a store or business

**** THE KING IN ECONOMIC TRANSACTION IS CUSTOMER ******

2. EVENT / EVEN =

Frankly speaking, the usage of event and even frequently for daily conv. are correct. However ppl are most likely to mispronounce.

EVENT >>>>>> / i - vent /
read the 'e' in 'vent' = 'e' in SATEEEEEEEEE

read the 'e' in 'vən' = 'e' in ELANGG !!!!

actually it's the matter of how your tongue twist betweet the 'T' and the 'D', just pay more attention when you're pronouncing these words. Can't be substitutes, bloke. emoticon-Ngakak

6. SWEATER / SWEETER

SWEATER = SWEAT.ER
read the 'sweat' >> the 'ea' will be read as 'e' in sate, the remaining 'a' stay silent. so it will be /swet/-er

for SWEETER = /swii'ter/
double e = i >>> swii

7. FREELANCE / FREE LAND

FREELANCE (FREE LANCE) = /fri'-lans/
the 'a' is pronounced as 'a' in ayam...

FREE LAND = /fri'-len/
the 'e' = 'e' in sate.

8. SEASON / SESSION

the 'e' is pronounced as 'e' in elangggg...

SESSION = /se-'syen'/
the 'se' = 'e' in sate ;; the 'syen' = 'e' in elang!
