Lithuania signed a EUR34 million (USD44 million) contract with Poland to buy Grom man-portable air defence systems (MANPADS) at MSPO in Kielce on 2 September.

The contract was signed by Brigadier General Gintautas Zenkevicius, Director General for Capabilities and Armaments at the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence, who said: "The purchase of short-range air defence systems is one of the Lithuanian Armed Forces' top priorities. The mobility and combat potential of Grom systems will definitely build up the defence of Lithuanian army units and facilities to defend them from the aerial attack".

Manpads hanya cocok di negara yg zero enemy................................
