First on the list is worth a formidable weapon operational and tactical missile complex "Iskander", which has been developed in the last years of the Cold War. His missiles are highly accurate and can hit targets at a distance of 400 km. Furthermore, they can maneuver into flight, as well as moving targets hit. Given the uniqueness of the border between Russia and NATO, "Iskander" gives the Russian military capability against targets that are deep inside Europe.

According to observers, NATO will try to destroy launchers "Iskander" in the first stage of any conflict with Russia. However, a successful strike against them depends on who prevails in the air above the battleground.
