Korban Derby London, Chelsea vs Arsenal [INSIDEN HANDSBALL]

Gibbs mistakenly sent off after Oxlade-Chamberlain handball on the linS E N S O R. as winger tells ref Marriner 'It was me!'
Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs was mistakenly shown a red card after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain handled the ball on the goal-line during the Gunners' 6-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who dived on the line to get a hand to Eden Hazard's effort from eight yards, admitted to referee Andre Marriner that it was himself who should have been penalised, saying: 'Ref, it was me!'

Mistaken identity: Gibbs (left) is shown a red card despite Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's handball
Admission: Oxlade-Chamberlain even approached Marriner to tell him it was he who handled the ball

Not needed: The handball was intentional but not necessary, with the ball going wide

The wrong man: Oxlade-Chamberlain protests with the referee, telling him 'It was me'
This was Marriner's first game at Stamford Bridge since he awarded Chelsea a controversial late penalty for Steven Reid's challenge on Ramires in West Brom's 2-2 draw with the Blues in November.
It is a situation, however, that Pedro Pinto, the chief of press for Platini, said would not have happened under UEFA's policy to employ an extra referee on the by-line.
Pinto wrote on Twitter: 'What confusion at Chelsea-Arsenal with the pen decision. That's why over 30 European countries have endorsed UEFA-backed 5 officials system.
'With an additional assistant referee on the end line, referee would not have got that sending off wrong. Technology is not the answer...'

bbc.com Arsenal: Andre Marriner appears to show Kieran Gibbs red by mistake
Referee Andre Marriner appeared to send off the wrong player when he dismissed Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs in Saturday's Premier League defeat at Chelsea.
A penalty was awarded after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain tipped Eden Hazard's shot around a post with his hand but Gibbs was shown the red card.
Oxlade-Chamberlain seemed to tell Marriner that he was the culprit but the original decision stood.
Hazard converted the penalty to make it 3-0 before half-time.

Left-back Gibbs seemed confused at receiving the red card, protesting his innocence, along with his team-mates, before leaving the field.
Hazard's shot was heading inches wide of goal before Oxlade-Chamberlain dived to his left to divert the ball with his fingertips.
Following his side's 6-0 loss, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said: "I believe it was handball but the referee hasn't seen it.
"The ball went out and I think it's Chamberlain who touched the ball. I don't know who gave indication to the referee that it was handball but he has certainly not seen it."
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, added: "There were lots of people in the box. Eden made a shot and you can clearly see a player dive like a goalkeeper touching the ball with his hand. From the bench you could not see what player it was. Someone said Arteta, it was Chamberlain, but the referee sent off Gibbs.

Final score pundits on Gibbs' red card
"It is the kind of situation where if you have a TV, the fourth official could see it was not Gibbs. Unfortunately the wrong boy came off."
Marriner appeared to consult one of his assistants before awarding the penalty.
But BBC Radio 5 Live reporter John Southall, at Stamford Bridge, said Marriner has reportedly admitted it was his own mistake.
He said: "One of our colleagues from television has been in at half-time and spoken to referee Andre Marriner, and he has admitted that he made a mistake and sent the wrong player off - Gibbs instead of Oxlade-Chamberlain.
"Originally we thought the linesman may have guided him and told him that it was Gibbs, but Marriner has cleared it up - he says it was his mistake, he got the wrong player and sent him off."
Kieran Gibbs
Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin told BBC Radio 5 Live: "I feel quite sorry for the referee, who didn't see it. But Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was telling him it was him.
"Use a bit of common sense, surely? They were right to send someone off, it was right to give a penalty, but they just got the wrong man."
The Football Association tweeted clubs "can appeal mistaken identity, although the FA can pro-actively review also".
In November, Preston had the wrong man sent off against Port Vale in League One.
Striker Joe Garner was suspended retrospectively for three games despite midfielder Neil Kilkenny being shown the red card during the match.

(bbc/rer)
