(Markotop) Menteri Ekonomi Israel Ke INDONESIA Buat Sejarah!!

I landed from my working visit to Indonesia and Australia and the first thing I see is the top headline on an Israeli news website, Walla, titled “Bennett traveled the world on the taxpayer more than any other minister". Walla labeled me the "The Flying Minister". They went so far as preparing a beautiful Youtube video to make fun of my work.
**
Yeah. That makes sense. That is why I went into politics. It was to “travel the world at your expense.” It was because I suffer from a lack of money, after selling my company for 145 million dollars, and I couldn't afford it myself.
**
I think that is what the late Arik Einstein z”l had in mind when he wrote "My little journalist".
**
Editors, let me tell you:
In Indonesia (the world's largest Islamic country where no Israeli minister has visited for the last 13 years) I met dozens of trade and economic ministers from around the world under the framework of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
We advanced trade agreements with surprising countries that I cannot yet make public.
We advanced cooperation agreements in research and development with other countries in the East, as I promised to do. We did this so that in the future we will not be so dependent on the European Union.
**
My bodyguards almost collapsed from the murderous pace of my schedule, and they told me they do not remember such an intensive foreign visit.
In conclusion, we also signed an historic trade agreement of the WTO (no, we don’t deserve full credit here, but we were involved).
**
I spoke to 157 Economic Ministers from around the world (!) including many Arab countries that do not have diplomatic relations with us.
Check out this speech and you will see what I talked about (Hint: It wasn’t on the topic of the Israeli – Palestinian conflict.)

In Australia (straight from the airport) I met Prime Minister Tony Abbott, whose country sits on the UN Security Council, and chairs the Sanctions Committee against Iran (!).
**
This was a very important meeting, because the Prime Minister of Australia had not yet met with any Israeli minister since his election. Australia will carry great weight in continuing the struggle against a nuclear Iran when the six-month Interim Agreement expires.
**
This effort was in addition to my highly publicized media blitz on the subject of Iran. One example is the interview on CNN with the coin from Jerusalem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v[/youtube]
By the way, it was after this video that Walla saw fit to publish that… I violated the Antiquities Law.
**
I met with dozens of businessmen and investors in Australia and connected them to our economic attaches in Australia, and I worked to convince them to invest in our economy.
**
On Saturday, I gave six lectures to the Jewish community in Melbourne. I lectured in synagogues, Bnei Akiva branches and various conferences. In this regard, it is permissible to "work" on the Sabbath...
As Minister of Diaspora Affairs I am responsible for strengthening the bond between us and the Jewish communities in the world and to maintain their Jewishness.
**
It was the same in India and China. I've set a national goal to open our market to the east, and I'm doing just that.
In general, there are more touristy places than Mumbai and Delhi or even Beijing.
**
In conclusion, my brothers and sisters - I will continue to work very hard for you, even if the media will criticize me for my “vacations” abroad at your expense.
I do not especially enjoy the part where I leave my family and fly to remote places in the world (as a high-tech entrepreneur I had to be away dozens of times a year, enough to be fulfilled). I am not complaining. This is my mission, and this is my job.
**
I promise to continue to do what is best for the people of Israel and not to be affected by newspaper headlines. If I need to fly I will fly, as much as necessary.
I will not allow certain journalists to prevent me from acting on your behalf.
They can forget it.
**
After returning home from the airport, thank God, I managed to see my four children.
I took a good shower and rested up because there is another day of work ahead for me.
