Guys, tahu gak sih, Vespa merupakan merek kendaraan bermotor dengan bentuk desain unik dan termasuk motor metik pertama yang berasal dari Italia. Perusahaan induk dari Vespa, adalah Piaggio.

Bentuknya yang unik ini hadir diseluruh dunia tak terkecuali di Indonesia dan telah dicintai banyak orang karena bentuknya yang klasik, unik. Komunitas Vespa pun tersebar di indonesia dan kerap mengadakan konvoi bersama.
Motor Vespa kini menjadi sebuah produk sepeda motor yang dapat dipakai dan dinikmati semua genre, pria maupun wanita, mulai dari mahasiswa hingga pekerja kantoran.
Sehingga Vespa menjadi motor elegan dengan desain yang klasik namun istimewa, seperti nampak pada gambar di atas. Selain itu hanrganya pun kini jauh lebih mahal di bandingkan sepeda motor matik merek lainnya. Di Indonesia sendiri motor Vespa dihargai 28 juta hingga 70 juta rupiah. Woowww..
Tahukah bagaimana bentuk Vespa sejak awal kemunculannya di Tahun 1943 hingga saat ini Tahun 2013? Berikut adalah video menarik mengenai evolusi bentuk desain Vespa selama 70 tahun.

Spoiler for 1946: VESPA MP6 PROTOTYPE:

A single-cylinder two-stroke engine with the cylinder in iron and the cylinder head in light alloy.
Bore: 50 mm
Stroke: 50 mm
Engine size: 98 cc
Maximum speed: 37.28 mph
Suspension: elastic with a steel spring on the front wheel and rubber pads for the rear wheel and the engine.
Brakes: expansion, the front wheel being operated by a handbrake mounted on the right side of the handlebars, the rear wheel operated by a foot-brake pedal mounted on the foot rest.
Wheels: 3.50– 8”
Spoiler for 1946: VESPA 98:

2-stroke single cylinder engine. Horizontal cast iron cylinder with press-fit light alloy head
Bore: 50 mm
Stroke: 50 mm
Capacity: 98 cc
Top speed: 60 km/h
Suspension: elastic, with spiral steel springs on the front wheel, and rubber buffers for the rear wheel and engine
Brakes: of the expansion type. Handbrake on the right side of the handlebar for the front wheel, and pedal on the right side of the floor for the rear wheel

A single-cylinder two-stroke engine with the cylinder in cast-iron and the cylinder head in light alloy.

Suspension: helicoidal spring on the front wheel, elastic with helicoidal spring and hydraulic shock-absorber on the rear wheel.
