The next generation of CPU's by Intel, tagged with the name 'Haswell', will appear in June this year.

Nevertheless many webshops have already attached a price to the Haswell CPU's. Lets see how much cash you will have to put down if you plan on upgrading to the next generation of CPU's..

Even though the CPU's won't be in stores for quite a while, an American webshop already has some of the CPU's listed with a price tag. More webshops already have the CPU's listed, which indicates a valid price.

Haswell be Intel's 4th generation set of CPU's, and will replace the current 3rd generation which goes by the name of 'Ivy-Bridge'

Let's see how much you will have to pay for the 4th generation of Intel's processors. The following prices are in US dollars and excluding VAT:

Intel has not officially released details, including the price for the Haswell CPU's yet, and it is expected they will do so in June. Due to this, prices might be adjusted over time. Benchmarks with a pre-production model indicated that the Haswell CPU's would be 7% - 13% faster than the Ivy-Bridge CPU's. These numbers are also still not officially confirmed and might change.
