This week on Monday, one of my colleague approached me.

SM (Silly Matt)
AP (Annoyed Purp)

SM: Purp, I've got something to tell ya

AP: I'm flat out Matt! what?

SM: Nothing purp (with his blinking eyes typical puppy dog face-like begging for help ).

My gut instinct was so strong.

AP: Gees Matt (walking away from him)

SM: Okay, okay Purp I'm serious I've got something to ask - a favour from U?

AP: Ohh, nooo, I got a bad feeling about this

SM: Okay, hmm I trust U purp, I'm going away for 2 weeks and as you know I'm doing respite officer role at Level 5. So I was wondering would U be able to do it for 2 weeks - just for 2 days purp?
You'll still be doing your role up here for 3 days.

AP: Matt, U joking right?! I'm doing 16 units and U wanted me to help U with other role? Did U speak about it with Tracy? (Tracy is our big boss)

SM: Yea, I discussed this with Tracy and even she said that purp would be the best person for this.

AP: WHAT?!?! but Why Me Matt???

At this stage (my brain was exploded I swear I imagined "scratching his face, cover his face with a huge black plastic bag and maybe kick his balls hope he groans out loud then walk away from the scene !!!)

SM: Well, because purp I think U can do it and even Tracy said U can do it and even Jess said U may do it better than me

AP: Matt, how many units U doing now?

SM: 5 units purp

(I swear I felt like smacking him to the ground and pressed him hard and then threw several punches on his guts while screaming "R U out of ur mind? P1$$ me off! I'm doing bloody 16 units already - I hv too much on my plate).

AP: Matt, U doing 5 units and I'm doing 16 units. Its a "No" ask Timi. She probably can do it for ya.

SM: Ohh purp please help me....Timi won't do it (blinking his eyes again )

AP: No - its A No! full stop, with exclamation marks and no questions!

SM: Alright I wont ask U anymore.

BIG MISTAKE!!!!

Tuesday morning, came to work with "happy spirit" checked my outlook inbox. First email from SM "Purp come down to L.5, I'll train ya with the Kids guardian system" -->

AP: (Still shock - purp sent email 2 simple words "Ur number?" --> This is purp when pissed off - 2 simple words n U better walk away becoz it means I'm furious!

SM: ext 71945

AP: Matt? what did I say yesterday?

SM: Tracy decided it

AP: did Leanne know about this?

SM: Yes she knows, r U coming down here?

AP: (Can't run, can't hide and just accept the faith), ok I'll come down now

I've completed the "sudden training on Tuesday", I'll be doing my role for 3 days whereas other people doing it for 5 days and I'm also doing Matt's role at L.5 for 2 days.

I only have 1 body and I can't split this apart into 2.

SO today, I think about ideas on how to manage my work within 3 days and still doing well for those 2 days.

Sent email to all the TL to inform them that I won't be around until Mon, Thurs, Friday. Next week due to Monday public holiday, I will only be at L.6 on Thurs and Friday. So if there are any queries, they can just flick me emails but won't get respond until Thursday next week.
Then I also remind them about the part timer who can't get their ADD hours because their shifts were projected early to avoid overpayment.
When I sent this email, my intention is purely "I need to manage my work and prepared myself ahead hoping not so many TL asked me about their staff members payments - etc etc"

Sent the email to 16 Team Leaders and 1 Senior Business Analyst (SBA).

Went home - with a peace of mind (Hopefully I won't get 100 emails on Thursday from the TL and I won't get people ringing me and ask over the same questions "where is my OT payment?"

Just got home, got changed - nibble my choc hazelnut and my mobile phone rang and I picked it up. Surprisingly, it was Nora. She said my SBA was really pissed off with my email that I had to go back to work and recall my email. This is at Freakin 18:07pm and I just got changed.
I said to Nora "I'm sorry Nora but I just got home and had changed". Nora said my SBA cranky.



Is it Wrong? I'm only trying to manage my work

Matt is only doing 5 units and I'm handling 16 units (double a quarter of his units PLUS doing his role with a deadline before 11am on Tuesday AND only within 2 days????)

Seriously - I'm not a robot. Tracy said "U worrying things too much, U're quick purp"

This what makes me sooooo soooo sooo wanting to go into "Business" or "Full investments" or "Writing" and earn income.

Employee - Being used and abused by the Boss

Employer - Getting the stream income and the shits always flows down the river. Heard that expression before?

No matter how nice you are, how kind you are, how hard U work, if there are any issues, the shits always goes down to "US"

Pardon my language today - I'm sorry I swears a lot today and shouldn't be happening.

But I had such a big bombed out day and no matter how hard I tried to erase this. I just couldn't.

If this going on, I'm thinking to resign and maybe tipped my life upside down and try to go into different field???

Any "business" suggestion --> the one with "low risks", "easy maintenance", "guaranteed stream of income" --> around $4000/month net? or 40 juta rupiah

I have bills to pay and mortgage instalments too

What to do?
