woe,is me dibentuk oleh Austin Thornton, (mantan drummer band post-hardcore sekarang udah ga aktif "of machine". Band ini merilis lagu ""Hell or High Water", "I.", "If Not, for Ourselves" dan cover lagu Kesha's "Tik Tok" ke MySpace mereka dalam beberapa hari menjadi sebuah band. Segera setelah rekaman ini dirilis, Rise Records dan velocity Records, menandatangani woe,Is me sebelum pertunjukan pertama mereka. Mereka telah merekam album debut mereka, Nomor [s], yang dirilis pada tanggal 31 Agustus 2010. terakhir menyelesaikan tur pertama mereka,pArtery Pyknic tur, dengan ll Ships, For All Those Sleeping, & Attila.
woe,Is me mulai menulis album kedua mereka pada pertengahan 2011. Hal ini dijadwalkan untuk rilis pada fall 2011.
