I wouldn't know since I'm not American or anywhere near the States. Here, though, I guess you just use the term 'stuffs' in convo. Eg "Yeah I went out to get some stuffs" or "I went on a shopping spree earlier and got myself some stuffs". I don't think there's a specific term...
