Chiroptera EA Live Review: Night Scalper Worth Buying or Risky?
Sharing my honest research on Chiroptera EA after spending the past week trying to decide if I should buy it.
Background: I've been trading manually for years but want to add an automated system to my account for the overnight session when I'm asleep. Chiroptera kept coming up in research because it's specifically a night scalper - only trades 2-3 hours per day during quiet market conditions, keeping capital out of the market the rest of the time.
What stood out during my research:
The developer (Rob Janssen, Netherlands-based) runs four simultaneous live signals on four completely different brokers - VT Markets, Star Trader, Titan FX, FP Markets. Most EA developers run one signal, maybe two. Running four across different brokers is a strong transparency signal because it shows the EA works across different execution environments, not just one specific broker setup.
The strategy is interesting too - up to 20 forex pairs from a single chart attachment, adaptive learning that monitors which pairs perform best on YOUR specific broker over 60 days then adjusts allocation accordingly. So the EA is basically custom-tuned to your broker after the calibration period.
MQL5 has it at $799. I found CheaperForex (cheaperforex.com) selling activation at significantly less - they're an authorised reseller that's been operating since 2019 with 28,000+ customers. HK registered, Trustpilot Excellent rating.
There's a thorough writeup of the EA at https://cheaperforex.com/chiroptera-...ownload-guide/ which covers the adaptive algorithm, the four live signals, the risk management features (MaxDailyLossPercentage for prop firm rules, hard stops on every trade), and the limitations honestly.
Worth noting the EA has had drawdown warnings on its MQL5 signals during volatile periods - it's not a magic system. But the architecture (single trades, no grid, no martingale, dedicated night session, multi-broker live verification) is more thoughtful than most night scalpers I've evaluated.
Anyone here actually running Chiroptera live? Would value real input before I commit.
