Bound By The Same Dream Chapter 01
I'd been having the same crazy dream night after night.
In it, I was entangled with a man in a whirlwind of desire, night after night.
But I had no clue who he was.
Then one day, I reported a girl in my class for cheating on an exam. She almost couldn't graduate because of it.
Furious, she called in her uncle—this total big shot who's got tons of clout.
Everyone thought I was a goner.
And when I looked up and saw that man, I thought, "Yeah, I was so screwed."
Because last night in my dream, I kissed him so hard I actually bit his lip.
Wait, how come there was actually a mark on his lip?

When Dominic Calder showed up, I seriously thought I was dreaming again. I pinched my thigh to make sure I wasn't still dreaming.
Vanessa Calder stood next to him arrogantly. "Elena Hart, my uncle is here. You still got time to beg for forgiveness."
I wasn't even listening to her. My eyes were locked on Dominic.
No way. No freakin' way.
He looked exactly like the man from my dreams. His killer looks, that sharp tailored suit, and his lips...
There was a faint red mark at the corner of his lips. It was exactly where I bit him in my dream.
Was that just some weird coincidence?
"Elena! Are you listening to me?" Vanessa snapped, clearly annoyed. "I said you'd better apologize! Admit you lied about me hiring someone to take my exam—say it was all made up!"
I looked straight at her angry face. I said flatly, "No."
"Have you lost your mind?! Do you even know who my uncle is? He's a shareholder at PrimeCore Group! He could just snap his fingers and yank that job offer right out from under you."
"So what?" I tilted my chin up and stared right at Dominic. "I ain't backing down."
When I walked out of the office, the kids around me wouldn't even look at me. They'd all lied through their teeth earlier.
Everyone, including the instructors and some teachers, knew that Vanessa cheated. But they all just turned a blind eye. Some even lied for her after I called her out.
There was just one reason behind it—Vanessa was the campus golden girl.
The Calders were already rolling in cash. Once Dominic took over the family business, they blew up in a huge way. Dominic wasn't even 30, and everyone already thought he was a total legend. Nobody wanted to cross him.
Well, nobody except me. If my report stuck, Vanessa'd probably get kicked out of school and not graduate.
My roommate ran after me, trying to talk me down. "Why are you going so far with this? You're almost done with school. Just let it drop, okay?"
"You might be fine with letting her get away with it, but I'm not."
She sighed. "C'mon, her uncle's untouchable—there's nothing we can do about it."
"Real funny. You didn't say a word when she stole your thesis ideas."
My roommate just froze, with nothing to say in her defense.
Vanessa shared a dorm with us, and she always acted like she was better than everyone else in the room. But she had it out for me the most.
I didn't get it at first. Then I clued in—it all started with a senior she had a crush on.
One day, I accidentally wore the same jacket as him, and everyone started joking that we were a cute couple. Truth is, I didn't even have his number.
Yep, she hated my guts over something that stupid.
I went back to the dorm and kept digging up proof that Vanessa had someone take her exam for her.
My roommates were chatting like normal next to me.
"Did you see Dominic earlier?"
"Yes, he looks way younger than I thought."
"Heard he's only seven years older than Vanessa."
"He's so handsome. Anyone know if he's married? Or has a girlfriend?"
"Vanessa says he's seeing someone. Not that it even matters—he's so far out of our league."
"For sure."
As they chattered on, my mind started to wander.
All those weird dreams I'd been having lately came flooding back.
In those dreams, Dominic would take off his flawless suit, and I'd drop all my defenses. We couldn't talk, so we just gave in to the heat between us—our bodies did all the talking.
The weirdest part? I'd never even seen Dominic in real life before today.
So how the hell was I dreaming about him?
