Transferring Her Spare Tire He Transferred Millions Chapter 01

My roommate wanted to offload a backup guy from her gaming account onto me, saying he was way too possessive and annoying.
I glanced at the note she'd attached: [Dumb rich guy—hit him up fast].
My eyes lit up, I replied: [Thanks! I love clingy guys!]
Just then, a stream of comments flashed before my eyes.
[LMAO, the evil supporting female lead is making her entrance.]
[She's just a plot device, the male lead's gonna go crazy over our goddess Seraphina later!]
[Hurry up and take him on, once he figures out he's been talking to someone else, he'll rush back for Seraphina. The tension's gonna be chef's kiss!]
So I was just a plot device to stir up drama?
Did that mean I was about to hit the jackpot?
My roommate Seraphina Blake texted: [He's loaded, sends money over at the drop of a hat, but he's way too possessive. I'm too lazy to deal with him; he's all yours.]
Seraphina was the undisputed campus belle of Westin Ivy University, with more guys in her little black book than you could count.
To keep track of them all, she made a bunch of fake social media accounts, posting whatever she wanted without ever worrying about getting caught.
I logged into Seraphina's account and took a look.
The guy's display name was straightforward: [6'2AbsHottie].
I scrolled through their chat history, and sure enough, the guy was a total jealous freak. He'd lose his mind if Seraphina replied to his messages too slowly, or if he found out she'd played a game with someone else.
All Seraphina ever had to do was send a few cutesy voice notes, and she'd calm him right down in an instant.
I tried mimicking her high-pitched voice a couple of times, and it was almost enough to make me gag.
More comments popped up.
[This side character's just a bad copycat, she thinks she can pull off Seraphina's voice? Please.]
[Just wait for Easton Vanderbilt to transfer the money. This gold digger's probably never seen that much in her life.]
Seeing that, my heart started racing.
Like, actual money transfers?
My allowance had run out this month, and I'd been stressing about how I was gonna afford my next meal.
Ding. [Zelle transfer received: $50,000.]
[Babe, work's been crazy at the company lately, I don't have time to game with you. Don't be mad.]
I tapped accept as fast as I could.
Fifty thousand dollars!
That's basically my tuition and living expenses for a whole year.
This is insane! In the best way possible.
***
I immediately sent a "shoulder massage" emoji sticker, followed by a message: [Thank you, sweetie! Make sure to hit me up when you're free, okay? Miss you already!]
My phone buzzed again the second the message went out.
[Zelle transfer received: $100,000.]
[That's the first time I've heard you call me sweetie.' It sounds really nice. Miss you too.]
My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw all those zeros.
100K just for calling him sweetie?
Deal. For that kind of cash, he could be my designated cyber-sweetheart for life.
The comments blew up in an instant.
[This side character has no shame! Not an ounce of modesty!]
[Easton must think it's Seraphina calling him sweetie, ugh, this is so infuriating!]
[Disgusting, she'll say anything for money!]
I couldn't care less about what the comments were saying.
Phone in hand, I immediately ordered myself the most expensive caramel cream frappuccino on the menu, extra everything, and a luxury seafood platter I'd been craving for six months.
Being rich felt incredible!
I'd never have to listen to my dad yell at me over the phone for my measly $500 allowance ever again.
What did these commenters know anyway? When you're so broke you can't even afford a meal, modesty doesn't put food on the table.
