Morgan is an upcoming 2016 American science fiction thriller film directed by Luke Scott and written by Seth Owen. The film features a large ensemble cast, consisting of Kate Mara, Anya Taylor-Joy, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Boyd Holbrook, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Paul Giamatti. Filming began on May 26, 2015 in Northern Ireland. The film is scheduled to be released on September 2, 2016 by 20th Century Fox.

Plot
"Morgan" (Anya Taylor-Joy) is not like other girls. Created and raised in a laboratory environment by a group of scientists, she defies nature with her super-human qualities. Walking and talking within one month and self-sufficient after just six, her rapid progression is remarkable, exceeding the expectations of her creators. After Morgan has a "tantrum" in which she viciously attacks and injures one of the scientists, corporate troubleshooter Lee Weathers (Kate Mara) is called in to make the ultimate choice of "terminating" Morgan or letting her live before she causes anymore havoc and escapes into the outside world.
