On the afternoon of Wednesday 29th, a 15 year old boy had his arm and left leg amputated after falling between the cars of a train at Christmas Village, located at Avenida Fontes Martins near the Viaduct of Anchieta in Cubatao (57 km São Paulo). According to information from witnesses, the teenager went on a wagon train walking and jumping from one car to the other when he lost his balance and ended up falling off the wagon and was run over by the locomotive. Witnesses at the scene immediately called an ambulance of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU). The victim was sent to the surgical center Cubatao Model Hospital where he was operated and remains hospitalized in serious condition, breathing with the help of machines. The driver of the locomotive reported that due to the size of the train (1400 meters) did not see the boy go up and even when dropped. The case was filed in Civil Police Station of the city.
