At the international exhibition "Oboronekspo 2014" "United instrument-corporation" (part of the state corporation "Rosteh") announces an initiative to develop its research and production enterprise "Ruby" - the mobile control unit for air defense platoon gunners on the basis of an armored car "Tiger". Development has no analogues in Russia, the closest to the functional analogue of foreign systems is one of the modules of the American system of tactical control FAAD C2.



Car set on the chassis "Tiger" is designed for rapid transfer of small units gunners armed with man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS), and automated control of their actions. The control module provides air defense command receiving from higher command posts, displaying them in the system, the transfer orders slave, reception and formation of the reports on the implementation of the tasks.

"Tiger" is equipped with a compact radar system to search and seizure of aircraft targets. The control module provides data on air defense targets and trajectories script action anti-aircraft units, and also provides automatic distribution of targets between the arrows in accordance with their position, and the state of readiness of ammunition.

The wheel-terrain chassis allows you to "Tiger" to move as on public roads and in conditions of rugged or mountainous terrain inaccessible to heavy machinery.

The exhibition "Oboronekspo 2014" presents a prototype machine, which is now being tested by developers. Full-scale tests of complex defense scheduled for 2015.
