Project Asst Director(Township)

Formulate township policies and direct their enactment. He/She participates in the development and approval of the township budget and as a member of the township board, he/she casts his/her vote on community issues. He/She also responds to complaints of township residents and moderates township meetings.

He/She may be asked to carry out other duties delegated to his/her by the township Project Director. These may include maintenance of township equipment and supplies and making purchases or authorizing purchases on behalf of the township. He/She may also be called upon to ensure that all township ordinances are adhered to.

Qualifications

Good leadership skills are essential for a township Project Asst. Director
At least 8 – 10 years of relevant professional experience and a proven record in planning, coordinating and executing complex and multi-disciplined projects in infrastructure .
Extensive experience in drafting tender documents for outsourcing of technical services and managing contractual services
Proficient in Project Life Cycle Management and Implementation
Experienced in project and program management software environment such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Information Improvement (PMII) or equivalent
Experienced in budget and cost estimate preparation, and accounts oversight with respect to construction and contract related expenditures.
Fluency in spoken and written English
