The crime occurred on the sidewalk, west side of the Central Axis, the side of the Guerrero, Cuauhtemoc. Just a few minutes after the victim had left the place where they were watching their concuño.

The woman was identified by her nephew, who mentioned that she was selling bottles in the Plaza Garibaldi. She was killed right in front of the place where she stored her wares.
