gan gw mau beli rumah di daerah point cook tapi gw buka pr ato citizen. katanya musti bli rumah baru nih kalo giini. ada yang tau tentang gini2an? atau mungkin ad yang kerja di salah satu property pt.cook? ehehe thanks ya gan
ga sepenuhnya benar.. any temporary residents( punya valid visa seperti student/working visa/temporary visa ) boleh beli established dwellings asal dijadikan sebagai primary residence mereka..

Ada sedikit perbedaan persepsi penggunaan Temporary Resident (Mungkin maksud anda adalah pemegang Temporary Visa???) , krn kalau dikaitkan dgn kelas visa, Temporary Resident visa itu adalah kelas visa yang berbeda dengan Student Visa, jadi tidak bisa disamakan. Tapi rupanya yang anda maksud temporaray resident itu termasuk student visa dan lain-lain dan itu agak tdk umum, krn istilah yg umum dipakai untuk non TR (Temporary Resident) dan non PR (Permanent Resident) adalah NON RESIDENT.

There are plenty of restrictions on non residents buying property in Aus.

For non residents to buy investment property in Aus, they must obtain approval from the Foreign Investment Review Board. FIRB approval is usually granted as long as the property has never been owned or lived in previously. In effect this means either buying off the plan, or buying a block of newly cleared land and building a house on it.

People who are in Aus on a temporary visa (like students or 457 etc) can also apply to FIRB for approval to buy an existing property. This is usually granted subject to 1) there is at least 12 months remaining on their visa, 2) the property will be used as a principal place of residence 3) the property will be sold to someone with PR or citizenship as soon as the visa expires.

ente ngemeng apa sih?

temporary resident itu bukan resident! kecuali untuk tax purposes mereka bisa dinamakan resident.

mana ada cerita orang dapet TR aja udah dianggap sebagai resident.

yg gw bold: mungkin maksud anda Temporary Visa instead of Temporary Resident. 'Temporary Resident' could easily lead people to wonder if you actually meant TR. TR itu ada visa class nya sendiri bro..

ya itu persepsi yg salah aja dari orang2.. ga ada hubungannya antara Temporary Resident dengan TR..

udah jelas yg gw bilang itu Temporary Resident bukan Temporary Visa
