Love should be rational. It means, you have to use your mind to handle something like this. That's what people say, and I did.. sometime ago.

What is that thing actually?

It's when you decide to be with someone for a or few rational reasons. Whether materially, financially or any tangible benefits. I.e. you marry a man because he's got your family approval and quite financially wealthy. Well, it's not all wrong, mind you. But there is something much stronger than those reasons. And that thing could be called 'love'.

'Oh no.... Another creepy love supporter is telling' Say you.

Put any label on me. I don't care. I'm just telling what I believe.

"Lo sayang sama dia, abis dia itu baik, ganteng, supel. Dia dj, gaul, temennya banyak, dompetnya tebel, bawa mobil pula, rumahnya bagus, punya apartemen banyak, dia itu apa yang lo mau banget bla bla what so ever.." You may be that person at least once. Admit it.

Bayangkan apa yang terjadi ga lama setelah itu......

Dia yang lo sayang itu ga lagi bermobil, orangtua nya bangkrut, seluruh keluarganya mendadak miskin, penampilannya pun ga bisa sebaik dulu, karna dia ga lagi mampu beli baju-baju bagus. Cakupan sosialnya menyempit karna dia sibuk cari uang. Waktunya buat elo pun ga sebanyak dulu. Dia bukan lagi cowok/cewek yang elo impi-impikan. Would you still love him?

Well, I'm being quite harsh in my comparison. But that shows my point quite clearly.

Sayang sama seseorang karna dia baik, ganteng, kaya, gaul, dan sejuta kebaikan manusia itu biasa. Tapi kalo lo sayang sama seseorang beserta kekurangannya, itu sama aja tanpa alesan dan itu nggak pake otak.

See? Love has no reasons, and it's not such a rational thing either.

Love, as I see it now..

Finding your love for me should be like this: It's like two indistinct cars crashing in a dark high way with no headlights on, driven by something greater than us.

Love should crash into you, your bones and soul together. Melting your id into an unidentified dish that spins inside your body.

Irrational? You bet it is.
